March 08, 2008. Hold onto your horses guys - MediaTakeOut.com has got some explosive news. Jay Z may be joining G-Unit Records. Word coming out of 50's camp is that the former head of Def Jam and 50 Cent are actively negotiating to have Jay Z come onto 50's label.
And it gets better. The source in G-Unit told MediaTakeOut.com, "[Jay Z] wouldn't just be coming on as an artist - he'd take over a lot of the day to day running of [the label] ... 50 [Cent] would then be free to focus on his music and other ventures."
If they pull this one off ... it would be a new era in hip hop...
