Despite having an airbag your version of the KWID failed (scored 0) the crash test too.The only difference between them is KWID having an unstable bodyshell is intentional; it's a cost-cutting measure by the manufacturer. Intentional or not, both issues can cost human lives. Toyota took action before anyone get hurt. Renault promised they would correct the issue from the next version of the KWID, they didn't give a damn about their existing customers unike Toyota.An unstable bodyshell is way more risky than an unresponsive airbag,  even the airbag can't protect you if the bodyshell integrity is compromised. That's why the KWID with driver's side airbag scored 0 for driver's safety.Atleast Toyota made the recall before anyone get hurt. Renault is yet to take responsibility for selling a vehicle with a compromised bodyshell to their customers. </blockquote>
