Right now, I have a small mini-ITX tower PC with WD Red HDDs. It was a significant expense but the per-TB cost is still pretty low. I have a decent Internet connection at home and every place I work from (I'm not in Sri Lanka), so this NAS is so much more convenient. I have Tailscale to access my NAS from the Internet.</blockquote>
