condom - the most popular family planning till now.Not 100% effective
both female & male condoms can be used.
a spermicide jelly used with a condom increases the effectivity to almost
    100%.
    Risk of condom rupture

surgical methods like vasectomy or tubectomy can't be considered right now for you, maybe after a couple of kids, you or your wife can opt for surgery

Withdrawal method- removing the penis just before ejaculation.very very unsatisfactory & uneffective method

calender method - intercourse avoiding during the safe period lasting for about a week(4 days before ovulation + 3 days after ovulation, cos an ova is fertile for 3 days after ovulation)
But I'm sure this is too togh for newly married and also very unaffective

If u'r interested,I'll tel you how to know if the women is ovulating

Also, any women won't be fertile for about 6 months after child birth,if she breast feeds the child for that long(which she's supposed to do anyway) due to stoppage of ovulation to facilitate breast feeding

So as of now, since you are getting married in 2 days time, condom is the best choice cos no time to start Pills.
You can start the combined pill on the first day after her next period(First day after the last day of bleeding)

If you need to know anything else, let me know machan

Macho even i'm gonna graduate in december this year.Just contact "Drugs" cos he just sat for the act 16 & cleared it last month

All I know that there are 3 theory papers 1 containing Community med,the 2nd containing Patho & Forensics & the 3 rd paper for gen Med,Surgery,OBG & Peads combined. All are MCQ questions with negative marks.

You need to clear all 3 papers before you can appear for the practical exam.If you dnt clear any theory paper, you can only appear for only that paper, 3 months later

in pracs,u'l have a viva for Emergency medicine,Patho & Com med & a clinical examination for all 4 finl yr subjects all on the same day. You'l get 1 long case & 2 short case per subject & u have to pass each final year subject seperately in Pracs(Med,Sur,Peads & OBG) or u'l have to repeat all 4 subjects again if you even fail in one.howeverthis doesn't apply to com med & patho& emergency med vivas as they will be held on a seperated day, about 1 week before the clinical exam

You have to apply for the exam from the Med council in Norris canal rd & there are coaching classes being held throught colombo to prepare for act 16 exam which increases r chances of passing

I hope I was helpful enough.PM me if you need to know anything more
