No, it’s not an American muscle car. The Jensen Interceptor actually came straight from Birmingham, England. A legend in its own time, the Interceptor and its absurdly huge engine almost instantly became a bedroom pinup for little boys throughout Europe. The Interceptor was the sibling to the Jensen FF, the first production car in the world to ever use full-time all-wheel drive. The Interceptor was rear drive, though. Because, burnouts. The fact that it made its debut in the series as Letty’s ride seems somehow prescient. The Jensen Interceptor is, after all, Europe’s most direct equivalent to Dom’s trademark Charger. It even uses the same engine. How romantic.23. 1970 Ford Escort RS1600<img src="http://img3.rnkr-static.com/user_node_img/50042/1000828034/870/1970-ford-escort-rs1600-automobile-model-years-photo-u2.jpg" alt="" class="fr-fic fr-dii fr-draggable " style="" />No, the 1970 Ford Escort from Fast & Furious 6 was not a RS2000, as it was reported for some reason all over the internet. For God’s sake, people, Ford’s had two hugely successful rally cars in its history, and they weren’t BOTH called “RS2000.” The actual RS2000 was one of those psychotic, mid-engine, Group F murder machines from 1990. The Escort RS1600 was its direct ancestor from decades before. At the time the original Escort rally car was devastating rally courses in Europe, Americans couldn’t have cared less about anything smaller than a V-8. They should have though, because this Cosworth-engine giant killer was a near match for most American Can-Am Camaros and Mustangs of the day. Close enough to keep them sweating, for sure. This is the car that made Ford a household presence again in Europe, and the Escort is still often called the “Camaro SS of Europe” because of it. 24. 2014 Eagle Speedster/Jaguar E-Type<img src="http://img3.rnkr-static.com/user_node_img/50042/1000828031/870/eagle-speedster-and-jaguar-e-type-automobile-model-years-photo-u1.jpg" alt="" class="fr-fic fr-dii fr-draggable " style="" />Its appearance was brief, but still counts. For those who haven’t heard, the Speedster comes from British manufacturer Eagle, but it started out as a legitimate Series 1 Jaguar E-Type in Fast & Furious 6. But don’t take the Speedster as some kind of hot rod hackery. Eagle meticulously goes through the entire car, updating or replacing every piece of it, modernizing the mechanics and making a few subtle aesthetic improvements. This somehow pulls off the neat trick of making the car seem even more pure than it originally was. It’s a love letter to a car, and worth every bit of its six-figure price tag.25. 2000 Honda S2000<img src="http://img1.rnkr-static.com/user_node_img/509/10178401/870/2000-honda-s2000-automobile-model-years-photo-u3.jpg" alt="" class="fr-fic fr-dii fr-draggable " style="" />No, it doesn’t have a Nissan SR20 motor, but Honda’s S2000 does have a 9,000 rpm redline and one of the greatest chassis known to man. Like a go-kart with the black heart of a vengeful Valkyrie, the S2K is a telekinetic experience with a mean streak a mile wide. You don’t drive this car through turns; you just THINK it across the apex and it gets there a lot sooner than you were planning. Unfortunately, Ja Rule’s character didn’t make a lasting impression in the series, but at least his Acura Integra looked pretty cool. And that's all that mattered to Ja.27. 1995 Volkswagen Jetta<img src="http://img3.rnkr-static.com/user_node_img/562/11231374/870/1997-volkswagen-jetta-sedan-automobile-model-years-photo-u1.jpg" alt="" class="fr-fic fr-dii fr-draggable " style="" />Talk about perfect “car casting.” If ever there was an automobile that combined engineering genius with a lovable, carefree spirit, it’s the Volkswagen’s Jetta. Jesse’s car has shown up again in various forms throughout the series, but, unfortunately, Jesse himself has not.
