    මම ෆෙඩෝරා ෆෝරුම්වලත් දැම්ම සීන් එක..ඒත් තාම කිසි ප්‍රතිචාරයක් නෑ බන්.. මෙන්න ඒ පෝස්ට් එකම උඹලටත් දැම්ම...:nerd:
    මගේ ඩොන්ගල් එක windows7 වල එලට වැඩ...නමුත් Fedora13 වල වැඩ කරන්නෙ නෑ බන්...:no:
    කවුරු හරි දන්න එකෙක් උදව් කරහන් මචන්..පිං සිද්ධ වෙනව උඹලට... :oo:

    Hello,
    I use O2 HSDPA USB modem to connect Internet.
    I think theirs no Brand for it. (Unbranded O2 dongle)
    Its successfully working in Windows7.
    But I cant connect to the internet using the same dongle on Fedora13

    Anybody Can help?? thanks lot..

    I tried USB modswitched and also the Sakis3G script...but no effect..

    Below are some information I got after executing lsusb on bash.

    1.- Boot the PC
    2.- Plug the modem
    3.- Wait until you have an icon on your desktop usually is from the Cell company.
    4.- Used right click on the icon to get the context menu to eject.
    5.- Wait a long time... really about two minutes or three minutes.
    6.- when is ready it will show up an option on NetworkManager.
    (I keep left clicking on network manager to check when is ready)
    7.- Follow networkmanager instructions on setting up a new a mobile broad band connection.

    umtsmon daapan.. rpm package ekak ati...

    machan oya seen eka dammot wada karaida aniwa..
    uba dannawada Sakis3G kiyala script ekak.. eka dammai passe mchn magee parana Ubuntu wala Detect kara same dongawa...

    but Fedora wala no effect..machan can u explain further more..

    me dongle eka GSM walin grep karanne natte mama hitana widiyata.. meka dmesg gahuwama pennane CD ROM ekak kiyala..

    Thats a qualcomm modem. Not linux friendly at all.
