Fill T's "Leak" (ලීක්) Song and Music Video Ft Hasini Samuel is a Disappointment
Apparently, Fill T and Hasini Samuel flopped hard in their latest almost-hot song and music video "Leak."
The mediocre rapper and model duo created very good viral publicity for the music video involving Hasini's wedding with Vishwa Perera. The celebrity duo managed to spread around a gossip that Hasini Samuel cheated on her husband Vishwa Perera on the very day of their wedding and Sri Lankan websites ran off with the gossip. The two appeared in a talk show 'Noize TV' on a later date and acted out that the incident was real and hinted nothing of a music video coming. However, there were rumours that the whole charade was for a music video and we waited eagerly.
The hype was built so much that when the actual song and video titled "Leak" was released, it felt as if Fill T and Hasini dive-bombed themselves.
Granted we get to see some skin and curves by the 20-year-old model Hasini Samuel. But they, too, are less than impressive. The scar on her left breast, that the makeup team chose to leave untouched, might not be everyone's cup of tea.
"Leak" song also has Hasini Samuel singing-a struggle-and sounds like a story narrative. She assumes the Sri Lankan fake posh accent to pronounce Sinhala lyrics, that are poorly written without rhythm.
Fill T's lyrics on "Leak" are almost entirely sugarcoated filth. There are metaphors on metaphors about sex, and...sex. There is probably one lyric by Fill T that makes some sense, in which he talks about the ancient Sri Lankan practice of a few brothers marrying one wife, which he states as something absurd if Sri Lankans pride themselves on 'culture.'
"එක ගෙයි කෑමත් වැරදි සංස්කෘතිය හරි නම්"
The promised excitement on "Leak" was a flop looking at the disturbing and cringe make out session by Fill T and Hasini Samuel. These make-out sessions have only paved way for some hilarious memes. Fail to see how, but even the chocolate licking off of Hasini Samuel's belly isn't very appealing to say the least.
The final message by Hasini Samuel from the "Leak" video is;
"People, stop scolding, humiliating and insulting me. I am Hasini Samuel, and I continue to be the same."
Oops. Sorry for this article then. Not really fair for her to ask us to change while she promises to be the same!
