w0000000000t!!!!
Yesterday I bought a D-Link DIR-628 for $80.
http://www.dlink.com/products/?pid=670
Features Dual band 802.11n Draft 2.0 ,4 fast ethernet ports,WPA2,NAT,MAC filtering,DHCP reservation, firewalls and list goes on.
Best thing is it features a USB port, which can act as a file storage with USB or print server with printer connected
Since USA don't have ISRs with built in modems,I had to place this behind the DSL modem. And got messed up .Today I carefully looked up and got what was wrong.I had entered routers IP as 192.168.2.1 and had the DHCP pool range 192.168.1.100-192.168.1.199.Also forgot refresh the DHCP pool.
Fixed in a flash and saved the config into a file for no worries.
Now I'm surfing with my lappy happily
Few Questions though.
Anybody use secureport software?Comes with DLink.A 30 day trial but kinda feel really secure with it.
Anybody use other firmware with D-link?like orange?
