Eyewitnesses said that the blaze has not yet been doused.We inquired on the matter from the Assistant Director of the Disaster Management Centre of the Badulla District E.M.L. Udaya Kumara. He said that wildlife officers are in charge of this region. He added that the fire erupted this morning and since the blaze erupted in a precipice dousing the fire is quite difficult.
