Benchmarks show FF using less RAM than Opera...
Doesnt using more RAM increase speeds of the browser n slow down the rest of the computer?
newayz im downloading opera 9.5 to give it a go.

n sum1 had posted a screenshot in contrary to ur statemnt on which 1 uses more RAM. according to his task manager it is firefox with more RAM usage.

Well, from what I found out, even though Firefox's RAM usage sounds great in the task manager, it does use a lot more than what the process uses.

In the old days, when both Opera and Firefox were using same amount of RAM on task manager, the total system RAM usage was much lower when using Opera, when everything else was same (maybe few MB here and there, but it is not significant)

Not that Opera is perfect. There was few irritating things in Opera too. But overall, browsing experience is superior.

sure there were few bugs in the previous builds, but the final build has solved all those issues.

I don't have that problem. Use the latest build if you are not.
