    AdBlock Plus

    Ever been annoyed by all those ads and banners on the internet that often take longer to download than everything else on the page? Install Adblock Plus now and get rid of them.

    Right-click on a banner and choose "Adblock" from the context menu - the banner won't be downloaded again. Maybe even replace parts of the banner address with star symbols to block similar banners as well. Or you select a filter subscription when Adblock Plus starts up the first time, then even this simple task will usually be unnecessary: the filter subscription will block most advertisements fully automatically.

    Video DownloadHelper 2.6.1

    download from this link - https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3006

    The easy way to download Web videos from hundreds of YouTube-like sites. This works also for audio and picture galleries.

    DownloadHelper is a tool for web content extraction. Its purpose is to capture video and image files from many sites.

    Just surf the Web as you are used to, when DownloadHelper detects it can do something for you, the icon gets animated and a menu allows you to download files by simply clicking an item

    For instance, if you go to a YouTube page, you'll be able to download the video directly on your file system. It also works with MySpace, Google videos, DailyMotion, Porkolt, iFilm, DreamHost and others.

    When you are on a page containing links to images or movies, you can download some or all of them at once. Moving the mouse over the items in the menu will highlights the links directly in the page to make sure they are the ones you want to pick up.

    DownloadHelper also allows you to download files one by one, so that you keep bandwidth to surf for other stuff to download.

    To modify your preferences, like changing the download directory, right-click on the icon and choose "Preferences".

    When you first install the extension, your browser is redirected to a welcome page with links to a user manual at http://www.downloadhelper.net/manual.php and a faq at http://www.downloadhelper.net/faq.php

    This does not change your homepage setting and the welcome page won't appear anymore.

    Support can be obtained from http://www.downloadhelper.net/support.php

    Tidy Browser Button 0.1.7 - by Colin Purves

    DOWNLOAD FROM THIS LINK - https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2538

    A toolbar button to toggle the size of the FireFox browser between the two standard web page sizes on the Internet. This extension is intended to help the user keep their desktop area tidier and more productive - just with one click!

    Press the button once for a viewable area 800 pixels wide, and again for 1024 pixels wide. With both states, the browser height is re-sized to just below the current height of the OS desktop area. However, these defaults may changed by means of the extension's options panel.

    The button must be added by the user once it has been installed by closing and restarting firefox, right clicking on the Firefox browser toolbar and selecting "Customise". The button will be one of those shown that can be dragged to anywhere on the toolbar.

    This extension isn't designed for web developers who need to test their layouts at 800x600, etc (there's plenty of those elsewhere). Instead the focus is on end users who'd like to show just enough of the page they're currently reading, without it taking over the whole desktop.

    I hope you find it useful. Feedback would be appreciated if you have the time.
    Works with:

    * Firefox Firefox: 1.0 – 3.0b2

    Flagfox 3.1.7 Homepage-by Dave.G

    Displays a country flag in the status bar depicting the location of the current website's server, and provides quick access to detailed location and webserver information.

    Flagfox is an extension for Mozilla Firefox that shows a flag icon in the status bar indicating the current website's server location. It uses relatively little resources, and works by accessing an IP address database contained within the extension rather than relying on top-level-domain roots like ".com" or ".uk". Clicking the icon loads Geotool, which provides a map of the location as well as more information such as the ISP and city. The context menu also provides quick access to information about the country of origin, as well as the ability to lookup the site's registrant via Whois.
    Works with:

    * Firefox Firefox: 1.5 – 3.0b3
