I'm also using both firefox & Opera ..Opera is much speed than firefox ..but i dont know about your expierience ....

There are too many bugs in Opera, and it is not necessarily faster than Firefox. Only in rendering tests it is faster. In page loading tests at least on the 512k connection, Firefox was faster (for me at least)
