Flamingo F020 Car AC Evaporator cleaner - any experience with this product?

OEM cleaners are not available to purchase anywhere from what I've seen (Toyota 00289-ACRKT / Mitsubishi MZ100950EX)

I’ve used Liqui moly sometime back. Good results! All the gunk and dirt came out through the drain.. not sure about the effectiveness of this one..

I Just removed the AC Filter and scooped the tube towards the Evaporator. or you can drop it from the top vents..

Never ever cleaned an evaporator. Even on a 90's Nissan caravan without a cabin filter no issues so far.

Not really but it's been 12 years without doing any maintenance on the AC system so felt like I should give it a shot

Civic is still having the factory fitted one. Caravan's one is already replaced 14 years ago and never touched after that. I mean the front evaporator. The rear one is still the factory fitted one. I regularly keep turning on the heater too to protect the heater core

Yeah their car wash shampoo is fine but I think I should go with OEM stuff or a reputed brand like Liqui Moly

there is no point of spraying anything from the fan's side. If it is clogged nothing will remove those dirt that easy. Better use the circulate mode and close the door to the outside.

Apparently the Lancer doesn't have a heater control valve at all meaning coolant continuously cycles through the core no matter if I turn the heater ON or OFF, though I do use the heater in cold weather

there is no point of spraying anything from the fan's side. If it is clogged nothing will remove those dirt that easy. Better use the circulate mode and close the door to the outside.

But I can see fine dirt in the blower fan even though I meticulously replace the cabin filter so pretty sure there is a layer of fine dust on the evaporator also. (I can verify if this is the case if I use a product like this on the evaporator, it might be that the condensation itself is keeping the evaporator clean but if it wouldn't hurt anything why not spray it once and check right)

Since the evaporator is wet, dust will be there for sure. If you can spray from the opposite side of the fan you might have a good result. But is there any space to do this properly? I don't think you can target the whole thing through the blower.

I'm also getting a mold smell just after starting AC. Might need to use something similar. 7 seater version has 2 evaporators so.
