Similarly, I also had the  plans to resettle the Internally Displaced Persons (IDP)’s in their  original places without causing any problems to them. The Army camps  should be put with regard to the security. But they should not be put up  in the manner disturbing the civilian lives. My plans were not given  importance at that time, whereas they are still not in a position to  address the grievances of the civilians affected by the war,” Fonseka  said.  Commenting on the rehabilitation programme, Fonseka said around  twelve thousand ex cadres have been rehabilitated.” I wonder whether  they were rehabilitated properly .Their psychological problems should  also taken into consideration.
