As an ambitious player, he fits in here perfectly." Coach Dieter Hecking also had warm words for his new recruit:  "Mario is the best German striker in my opinion. His success and goal-tally speaks for itself. In addition, he possesses leadership qualities and has a clear vision, which is congruent with our own. "He suits our team and this club perfectly."Gomez, who has previously played for Stuttgart and Bayern Munich, will join up with his new team mates on Thursday and is excited about the prospect of starring for the Bundesliga club. "I am really looking forward to this new challenge," he said.
