The Manchester United goalkeeper recorded 14 saves against Arsenal on Saturday, helping his side to a vital 3-1 victory at the Emirates Stadium.  The Gunners kept De Gea busy all night and the goalkeeper responded in spectacular fashion, particularly on a stunning double save in the second half on Alexandre Lacazette and Alexis Sanchez. The 27-year-old equalled the mark that is shared by Tim Krul (Newcastle v. Spurs in Nov 2013) and Vito Mannone (Sunderland v. Chelsea in Apr 2014).  No save data exists prior to the 2003-04 campaign, but De Gea's tally is the joint best since Opta began collecting save data.De Gea's saves helped his side overcome Paul Pogba's red card in the second half, as the Red Devils hung on to close to within five points of Manchester City, though Pep Guardiola's side do have a game in hand.</blockquote>
