I think Italian teams are improving and can do well in Europe too.”Candreva is currently helping Inter to chase down a domestic crown, with the Nerazzurri sat third in the table – nine points adrift of leaders Napoli. Luciano Spaletti, an experienced coach held in the highest regard by those working under his wing, is the man charged with delivering success this term at the San Siro.“Spalletti is a coach at a great level,” added Candreva.“I’m very happy to be working with him in this period of my career. Thanks to him, I am improving a great deal. “He works a lot on concentration, motivation and consistency. He is meticulous and you always learn something new with Spalletti.”Candreva has not been in the best of form this season, despite his claims to be improving, with his goal account yet to be opened in 2017-18. He is, however, adamant that criticism from certain sections of Inter’s fan base is not weighing on his mind.“I never felt the pressure of playing at San Siro,” he said.“We are talking about a crowd that knows its football and has seen world-class players, so naturally it demands a high level of performance.
