In the attic...
"Researchers from Michigan State University have discovered that plants have a rudimentary nerve structure, which allows them to feel pain. According to the peer-reviewed journal Plant Physiology, plants are capable of identifying danger, signaling that danger to other plants and marshaling defenses against perceived threats. According to botanist Bill Williams of the Helvetica Institute, "plants not only seem to be aware and to feel pain, they can even communicate."

This research has prompted the Swiss government to pass the first-ever Plant Bill of Rights. It concludes that plants have moral and legal protections, and Swiss citizens have to treat them appropriately. The Penn State Vegetarians Club would do well to investigate this data before claiming to be superior to those of us who do not subscribe to the idea that eating meat is morally wrong."

agreed! These vegetarians think they can get a nice after life by not eating meat. they only think about bigger animals like chicken, pigs, cows but they dont think about ants, mosquitoes and other type of small species.

I have few questions for these vegetarians.

    1. Do you think lives of species differ from their size?
    2. Dont you slam mosquitoes when they bite you?
    3. Do you think not eating meat lets you for better karma?

    :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

i can give u some answers for this.

actually lives of species differ from many things,
when u kill a mosquito, and a cow its different. lets see why >?
mosquitoes always do harm for u, harm for humans, and when u slap on it, it dies within few seconds..
but a cow never harm u, it just help for ur life. and when killing a cow in that way, it takes 10-20 mins maybe even more to die. much pain. Cows never get anything from u like mosquito, they never come to u to give diseases.

for 3rd Q i cannot tell anything so as everyone.. u also cannot answer ur own 3rd Q ((

be wise and think, if u cut tree leaves or branches to eat, a tree can grow again. mostly people eat tree leaves, fruits, nuts. what a tree can reproduce again and again.
even if u dont eat tree leaves, after some time they fall. if u dont eat nuts and fruits, they also fall down. in winters, many trees havent even a single leaf. so is it painful for a tree, ? after winter, tree grows!!
but which animal can grow their body parts after cut ?

so do animals...we have been eating cattle for centuries....don't they grow back and replenish their numbers too?....

plants wither & die of old age....so can animals that is natural....but both feel pain when they feel threatened and hurt....

all i am saying is...to sustain one life one must kill another living being....be it a growing plant...harmful insects and pests....or animals....

"survival of the fittest"......and we ARE the fittest species around.....

besides...don't animals kill each other more viciously for food...?....does that mean a lion is going to be punished by karma....?...coz it killed a calf by biting its throat off and leaving it to die?.....if the lion does not eat....it will die....

if you really didn't want to kill living beings you must not eat...or drink anything....coz water contains many micro-organisms that you kill when you drink....

if you consider all this....every being on earth is just as cruel and vicious as the people here in this video.....

a study shows that plants are THE most sensitive creatures.....they "cry" in alarm even at the presence of someone new....

breaking a leaf or flower for example is like raping the plant....:(...i heard this on national geographic tv.....and i stopped plucking at plants....

in fact if you talk softly to plants everyday when gardening they grow stronger and faster.....and actually release beneficial chemicals to help you....:cool:

    Playing music to plants

If the idea of talking to your plants still sounds bizarre, then even more dubious is the idea that playing music to your plants might help them grow. In fact, a number of people have released whole albums dedicated to providing maximum growth.
Back in the seventies, a nice lady named Dorothy Retallack published a book entitled The Sound of Music and Plants, which chronicled her experiments with playing music to plants. Always using a test group, she experimented with continuous tones, different volumes, different genres and differing play list lengths. Her results, if they can be trusted, are startling.
Retallack discovered that plants subjected to calm, soothing music in short busts not only grew quicker, but actually leaned towards the source of the sound. Plants listening to satan worshipping rock and roll (Jimi Hendrix and Led Zeppelin, for the record) actually leaned away and died. Amazing. Through a series of further experiments with different genres, Retallack concluded that plants like strings best, and loud percussion least.

according to the food chain , and origin of species survival of strongest is true. but i said, something else.
if u cut tree leaves or branches they grow again, with the same tree. but animals cant do that. this is what i said.,
we cannot be responsible for what happen without our sense,
eg - when drinking water, some microbes die. but we can stop giving pain to animals, rather than killing them in that way what video shows.

if u use a gun and kill an animal in a jungle is far more better than killing a caged and used animal in that way.

but like its proven.....if you pluck a branch or cut off parts of a plant....the plant suffers....it will not die....but it suffers....except for fruits bearing trees all other plants suffer if their "product" is taken.....

so its like your slowly torturing and killing the plant...instead of killing it at once......:shocked:

that is worse than even what these ppl are doing...

just coz you don't feel it doesn't mean the plant will not suffer....or the lady birds will not die from pesticides....not to mention the birds that feed from plants and insects treated with poison.....

if you think about it...what they do to plants is worse.....its like torturing a blind, deaf & mute person....who can't even cry out in pain..and suffers silently....

it isnt bad, since they can reproduce again and again. as we reproduce our nails and hair. is it painful when u cut ur hair and nails ?

trees also like our hair, u can see falling leaves and branches same as hair. !!!
if u cut or not, tree leaves fall and reproduce new leaves, and some trees remove their branches too !!! :)

no its not like hair and nails on humans.....parts of the plant ages and grows old....parts of the tree grows old and dies...and gets new parts...its like a snake shedding its skin....if you try to remove a snakes skin while its still growing....i don't think its like cutting our hair....:no:

plants don't have nervous systems....they sense things around them thru these parts.....just like a skin....

not only snakes, humans also remove skin and reproduce new skin... anyhow i wanna ask u a question..

if ur finger can grow again, what will u probably think good
if someone kills you or cut your finger, which can reproduce within few weeks ?
like tail of gecko.. missing a tail of gecko is a very little thing, i dont think gecko suffers a lot because of that.
me going to eat, will be back sooN)) by the way,, u are not aggressive today :)

Even if that could happen unless nature wants it.....it will probably hurt for it to be cut.....the only way it will not hurt is if is a defense or reproduction mechanism.....

an octopus will fight hard to keep its legs...and will only lose them at the very last resort...even then it has a 70% chance of dying....

small reptiles are the only creates with such regrowth defense mechanism....all other creatures are rather attached to their body parts.....

fruits plants use fruits as a reproduction mechanism to spread its seeds....so tress actually respond happily to this.....yet the fruit itself will be alarmed and cry.....

like in the case where a crushed tomato will be scared and cry to say its hurt to warn others near it.....

i don't think something would do it if it was normal thing to do.....like lizards:no::no:

LOL, fruits crying.. trees make fruits for others to eat and take the nut far from the mother tree by..

they still cry....their natural option is for the seeds to use the flesh of the fruit to growth and additional nutrients and to attract possible seed transport options.....and as the fruits withers and dies...it drops to the ground....where an animal may or may not eat the fruit and carry the seed for distribution.....

yet fruits and vegetables themselves feel fear....sense danger and suffer....

now that you know the amount of pain and suffering you impose on plants....will you stop eating?....

"One of the first to research the concept was the Indian scientist Sir Jagdish Chandra Bose, who began to conduct experiments on plants in the year 1900. He found that every plant and every part of a plant appeared to have a sensitive nervous system and responded to shock by a spasm just as an animal muscle does. One visitor to his laboratory, the vegetarian playwright George Bernard Shaw, was intensely disturbed upon witnessing a demonstration in which a cabbage had violent convulsions as it boiled to death.[2] Bose found that the effect of manures, drugs, and poisons could be determined within minutes, providing plant control with a new precision. In addition, Bose found that plants grew more quickly amidst pleasant music and more slowly amidst loud noise or harsh sounds. He also claimed that plants can "feel pain, understand affection etc.," from the analysis of the nature of variation of the cell membrane potential of plants, under different circumstances. According to him, a plant treated with care and affection gives out a different vibration compared to a plant subjected to torture. In conclusion, he said: "Do not these records tell us of some property of matter common and persistent? That there is no abrupt break, but a uniform and continuous march of law?"[3]
    "
