These phones have a built in accelerometer..which nokia had kept secret...
The motion sensors allow to use cool applications..such as da soft ball game..where da ball can be moved by moving da phone !! go to google and search for "accelerometer applications"..u can dwnload some...its really awesom !
There's dis game where you fly in the air..and u can turn,move up or down..by jst moving the phone !!

Usually accelerometers r used on modern vehicles to activate the airbags when the heavy crashes, but i think now a days mobilephone copanies use the latest technology to improve the perfomance of theire products. moastly accelerometer use to rotate the mobilephone screen automatically.
