Anusha.. what USB problem you have?
I used to have it...

Those days I had the USB ADSL modem. So it was a serious issue for me.

This is how to reproduce it.
1. You power on UPS
2. You are impatient and you hit the power button on the PC immediately
3. When you boot into Windows, your USB devices are not listed!

The issue is, when you turn on the UPS, the PC turns ON automatically for a second, then turns OFF - without pressing the power button. If you hit the power button within this period, you get that issue.

In my Asus mobo, there is a 2 second delay in powering up, since you press the power button. In this case, I think it is to improve power stability, by giving enough time to charge the regulator caps and inductors.

What kind of "HUGE" softwares you mean?

Asus may have compatibility issues with some RAM manufacturers, but you can refer to their DIMM support in the manual to be on the safe side! And get a BIOS update because they will update their QVL (Qualifed Vendors List) time to time...
Yes, there could be incompatibilities with RAM, but NOT CPUS!!!

Anyway, don't update BIOS just for the fun of it. Check the release notes and see if it addresses the particular issue you are having, and update only if it does.

So did I :P
And I had to wait for almost 3 months for the mobo (But the perk was that I could buy my Asus mobo and could finally see the crappy AMD pc off :D)

Hehe  But why 3 months  ?
That's what happens when you don't buy things from a place like EPSI :(

Anyway, they gave a crappy 945G based Intel mobo for the time. I never used it....

I infact did update my BIOS recently because of some RAM issue, I bought a CORSAIR XMS2 and strangely enough the thing didn't work, I did everything I possibly could, my system didn't even boot up, then I went back to the dealer and changed to a new pair of XMS it was the same story.. So I figured this definitely is my MOBO problem and updated BIOS...that didn't work either...then when ran out of option I just refer to the Manual.. and there it is.. says XMS2 cannot be supported in dual mode   So I sold the RAM to someone else!

Then I went and changed it to HyperX, came home and plugged it in.. wolla.. WORKS LIKE A CHARM!!

Funny thing is.. after that the person who bought the RAM from me, called me up and said 1 of the sticks isn't working... Now I'm thinking how unlucky I am I'm having a incompatible MOBO and on top of that got a spoiled RAM.. As for the RAM I think maybe the whole batch is problematic!!

I think the XMS requires more than the default 1.8 or 1.9V the mobo is providing. This problem is there with every low latency RAM. Maybe the HyperX works at a lower voltage. That's why they worked, and not the XMS. But if you set a high voltage in the BIOS with your old DDR2 KVR (right?) and tried, it may have worked.

I checked the spec, and XMS2 is 800MHz 5-5-5-12 @ 1.9V by SPD and Hyper-X is 667MHz, 5-5-5-15 @ 1.8V by SPD. (800MHz, 4-4-4-12 @ 2V manual)
Maybe that 0.1V makes the difference.

XMS states on the sticker 1.9v, but many have known to work very well within 2.0v - 2.2v, I've tried all this values, Manually putting timings (5-5-5-12 2T) my PC just wont boot, Currently my HyperX works @ 2.2 (5-5-5-16 @ EPP), I can run @ 4-4-4-12 as well but cannot overclock!
