This happened to me today at a certain petrol shed in the katubedda area. I went near the refilling machine and this bugger told me to take my car even further passing the refilling machine (I couldnt properly see the meter at that distance) I gave my credit card and told 3 times to check the card with 2000 rs before start refilling. But this guy gave my card to another worker to get it checked and started refilling already and suddenly stopped. Then he told me that he has pumped 500 rs of petrol and he will pump another 1500 again. But I stepped out of the car and went near the machine and he has only pumped 53 rs of petrol instead instead of 500.
The lesson i learned is to always step outside of your car and keep an eye on the meter during the whole pumping process.
Please inform all of your friends and other people about this and that could be helpful for them to prevent getting cheated at refilling stations.
