FRIENDLY ELPHANT IN SRI LANK

This topic is there in todays sunday times also. i got this vdo frm da sundaytimes website. n e way this is it. a elephant in da habarana polonnaruwa road stops passing vehicles and asks food from them and when given it alows them to pass. upto now no damage to anything has been caused by this elephant.


what i think abt this elephant is dat it must have been an elephant that was owned by sumone b 4 and got lost now and coz it was owned by sumone it doesnt know to find food byitslef and asks from thers. and also as it was a tamed one it doesnt harm others.

hahaha..ela story eka! I was on the same road few weeks ago, coming back from Batticaloa but didnt see this fellow...there were many other Elephants though..

dont know wats da seen!! i also noticed dat after u told it only.
must be a sick elephant or sumthing or a pregnant elphant which giving birth to the young halfway due t sum reason and only da babies trunk is seen!!
