Joe force must oppose a Cobra organization that has secretly allied with a subterranean reptilian who were their founders.  Plot: Time and time again, Cobra has been on the threshhold of global domination, only to be thwarted by the Joes. Now the ruthless terrorist organization has a new ally, the Cobra-La race, led by Golobulus. Golobulus wants to steal the Joes' "Broadcast Energy Transmitter" in order to ripen space spores and mutate the people of Earth. When Duke is injured and the rest of the force immobilized, it's up to the new "rawhides" and Slaughter's Marauders to pick up the slack and save the world Once again G.I. Joe must protect the world from total obliteration. Cobra, the deadliest of foes and leader of an underground race of the snake people, is proving to be a great threat to humankind. After spending many generations underground, he plans to take over the world again with the help of his evil foes Pythona and Serpentor by releasing deadly spores into the atmosphere. These spores can transform all life into the weakest of creatures, which means humans could potentially devolve into amoebas. However, in order to accomplish this, Cobra must acquire the Broadcast Energy Transmitter. Luckily G.I. Joe is there to stop Cobra and his evil army.
