Good  problems? “In an effort to meet the considerable worldwide demand, and to  ensure that all gamers worldwide have the opportunity to play the game  on day one, we have chosen to postpone the launch of the game by two  weeks to allow for extra manufacturing time,” SCEA president Shawn  Layden wrote on the PlayStation Blog. “We know this news might be disappointing, and we are sorry  to have to make you wait a little longer to play Naughty Dog’s latest.  The good news is that the game is phenomenal — we are fully confident  that it will be worth the wait and the team at Naughty Dog is eager as  ever for you to experience Nathan Drake’s final adventure.” The game’s director, Neil Druckmann, added on Twitter  that the delay will “make for a smooth worldwide launch,” saying the  wait will be “worth it at the end,” and thanked everyone for their  patience. This is only the latest in a series of delays to the sequel, which was entirely rewritten after former directors Amy Hennig and Justin Richmond left Naughty Dog, and had originally been planned for 2015 launch.This latest slip isn’t entirely surprising, as Naughty Dog returned to the motion capture studio last month, despite nominally having wrapped on performance capture in October 2015. Uncharted was announced at E3 2014 for a 2015 release, with pre-orders opening that very day. By March 2015 we knew it wouldn’t arrive till spring 2016, with Sony waiting five months to settle on March 18. The most recent delay – besides today’s – occurred in January, pushing Drake’s latest to April. </blockquote>
