This information comes straight  from  the game’s Steam database entry, and its Steam store page does no longer  list Denuvo. Hitman  2 was released on November 13th for the PC and it was cracked  almost  two weeks after its official release. We don’t know why it took  Warner  Bros and IO Interactive so long in order to remove, it however  I’m  pretty sure that a number of PC gamers will be delighted. Contrary  to its predecessor, Hitman 2 only uses DX11 and has major  optimization  issues in numerous scenes. As such, we’ll be testing this  new  Denuvo-free version in order to see whether there are any  performance  improvements and we’ll be sure to let you know in case  there is a  noticeable performance boost.</blockquote>
