There is no point in being a feminist in this age. Women and men have the same rights. Modern day feminists want more power. You can be anti-feminist as these idiots don't represent what women in the past fought for.
I cannot disagree with you. However, let us not forget the simple fact that societies progress at different paces. Feminist movement only looks redundant in the context of the Western civilization, where women are already enjoying a sizable level of equality and dignity. Whereas in certain parts of the world- say, Middle East or our own South Asian nations- feminist movements still have work to do. It's all about levels...and knowing when to stop once you achieve your goal. IMO, we (meaning the Arabic world and Certain regions of Asia) are nowhere near that threshold.
The fundamental issue of the local opponents of Feminism is that it feels like some of these guys are downright COPYING anti-feminist/anti-PC sentiments of the west without adjusting it to the subtleties of the local context (Just like some local women are emulating extreme feminist ideas from the same origin). Feminism, and more generally PC culture is not something inherently bad. What we appreciate about the West day and night (basic human rights, equality and individuality etc.) are there precisely because they adopted a sensible PC-ness during the 80s and the 90s. What should be criticized, and boy should we do that as much as possible, is the exceedance and the indoctrination of feminism, not the whole mindset.
