First, I am not gay, straight and married,

( I am bit uncomfortable to see male gay activities too)

But I believe if you are gay you have the right to be gay. Others do not have the right to insult you even in Sri Lanka.

I do not think it is a psychological problem either; otherwise it would have been treated in those countries where is legalized. (May be a small percentage could be treated, but saying that may offend gay people)

It is not against Buddhism either. I remember watching a TV programme about gay people (UK), according to which most of the Indian gay people are Buddhists as the other temples/churches do not welcome them (this is just what I saw in that programme).
A true compassionate Buddhist Monk never cares about your sexual orientation.

One online post asked about Killing gay people according to Buddhism. Come on!!! Entire world knows that Buddhism is the most companionate religion in the world.

I recall a UK advert for tissues. A Buddhist monk uses a tissue, and a background voice says that the tissue kills 99.9% of the germs. The monk demonstrated a guilty feeling and looked at the tissue with a frustrated look.

This is how the world knows about Buddhism. So talking about killing people is an utter nonsense!!

Note:

"Gay" - homosexual: someone who practices homosexuality; having a sexual attraction to persons of the same sex
