well if u think of the price ATI is cheeper every time...

but for that price u cant buy a Nvidia for that performance

well buddy if i actually tel u the truth in here even so many ppl hav really bad
experience with ATI and they dnt tell coz after telling so many things they buy.
and when they start to get probs they will keep ther mouth shut hehe.

i dnt want to mention names here.
when it comes to OC and performance tuning u cant beat nvidia, i will bet abt that.

agreed..but still ATi has more optimised drivers now and no doubt the 5x series are an amazing piece of engineering....yes back in the days everything was crap the drivers the cards the heat the noise....etc etc:P..but now it looks like they've improved

Nvidia on the other hand lets be honest is a bit late (due to the new structure)...and had some serious forceware issues.(you probably know about that...some are infected by them not all)....In spite of all that they did deliver the surprise each time and I have no doubt it would be the same this time...:)

yeah it did. and bro this time OMG nearly billion pixels @ 1080p res with 60FPS in stereo 3D,
    damn......

may be or may be not both are made in silicon valley..
but there are lots of defect models of nvidia rit?
if u check the failiure rate of nvida vs Ati Nvida has the no 1 failure rates..
some times you dont get the value for what you pay..
and also check there guaranty Lifetime Warranty for ATI and 1year for Nvidia
Limited warranty 24 months for parts and 24 months for labor

Well..in the end we get a more stable product...more failures more time they attend to it = a better product..:)..(or wouldn't be a product at all)...Im sure if you search you'd find ATi
    has the same story.

LOL...limited warrenty...:P...no The vendors give Lifetime warranty for nvidia components Evga XFX etc...My ones have..:P...and lets not forget EVGA one of the (or probably) best brands out there would even allow removing HS/cooler without voiding the warranty... I dont know about ATi and its Vendors..:P

We dont know anything about it at this moment just a number of previews...we'll see when the official benchmarks roll out..one thing I do know is ATi sucks on tessellation at high resolutions....and if the specs speaks for themselves this would definitely kill the 5870..:P

    Hello..
did I say that the 5870 is better than the GTX 480 :rolleyes:

I mean 5870 will be cheaper than the GTX 480 and u still can get good performance frm it ;)
