General Fonseka visits Mahanayaka theras in kandy

General Sarath Fonseka who has announced his candidature for the Presidential elections as the common opposition candidate today called on the Asgiriya and Malwatta Mahanayaka thereas in Kandy.

After the visit speaking to the media he said that the government was on a campaign to sling mud at him during the campaign and they had already commenced their work.

He said that he will also work towards protecting the rights of the minorities.
