Everybody knows by now that Aamir Khan's movie Ghajini is a remake of the Tamil movie Ghajini which starred South superstar Surya in the lead role.

What very few people know is that the Tamil movie itself was inspired by the Hollywood thriller 'Memento' starring Guy Pearce and Carrie-Anne Moss. The film was directed by Christopher Nolan.
The story of Ghajini revolves around Aamir Khan who suffers from short term memory loss after a fight with goons and how he avenges the murder of Asin who was killed by those goons. Ghajini releases in India across theatres on 25th December.
