Following the amended agreement entered in to with the Government in October 2007 Sri Lanka Telecom offers (SLT) the following special package to its customers as effective from 1st November.
With the introduction of the new tariffs SLT will move to time based (per second billing) which will be a simple structure as Compared to unit based structure.
1. Customers do not pay for unutilized time. - Pay as you speak.
2. Simple structure (similar to other operations) as compared to unit based structure.
Rental of the monthly bill will also be reduced.
1) Residential rental is reduced from Rs.495/= to Rs.345/=
2) Business rental is reduced from Rs.1250/= to Rs.950/=
Billing Discount
Up to Rs.400/= worth of call charges per month will be discounted.
Revised tariffs applicable from 01st November 2007 will be as follows
