    thats why i said you cant beat 8800gtx with 2900xt..
    nvidia got the best cards..

    :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)
    for now.U knw when its an endless battle between a duo,a chapter is won by each of them.Intel vs AMD,ATi vs nVIDIA.Lets hope when AMD intergrates the GPU into CPU Intel comes with a good thing for battle.But it will be like 10 years frm now.

    pics of gaming with Phenoms seems eye candy.And they jus released the X2 6400+(3.2GHz) to beat E6850.
    They are just too ambitious. When a 2.4GHz C2D and 3GHz X2 are almost equal, how can a 3.2GHz (7% increase in clock speed) match a 3GHz C2D (25% increase on clock speed and fsb both)??? AMD people are weird :lol:

    So far, true. I think AMD should have released the card as 2800XT, instead of 2900XT. :(

    But remember, ATI drivers bring more and more performance improvements to the 2900 series with every release. Hopefully things will get much better for the card in a few months' time.

    Sure they r.AND does the Intels FSB relies on Base clock?(25% increase on clock speed and fsb both) or the E6850 is 1333?

    RV670 would be like that,eh?
    AFAIK, there is no faster card than HD 2900XTX 1GB (maybe 65nm instead of R600's 80nm) R700 will hopefully do some good damage, but by that time, nVidia will have G90 (not much faster than G80) and G92 (iirc 1 teraflop of processing power!!!) and that won't be easy for AMD (again)

    RV 670 would be like future HD2700/2800XT and its 65nm.And IIRC G92 is in November.Sure isnt easy for AMD.

    E6850 = 333x9
    I'm an a**hole with Intel buses.:S :P Dont knw anything.:S
    I just understood that E 6850 has a 9 multi and a 333 standard base clock of intel.There is another link for the FSB right?Or can you give me some OCing basic manual to Intel or to the page that has all the CPU overclocking manuals listed?....

    Just increase the fsb and that's it. You might need to feed more voltage to CPU and northbridge to keep things stable. You might need to lower the multiplier to get higher fsbs, but higher fsb means higher RAM speeds, so keeping the multi as high as possible is the preferable way.
