We have a very tight program visiting all 5 countries in the Central Asias. Today arrived early at the hotel to watch a cultural show at 5.15PM. Uzbek traditional Culltural show with music, dancing & their costumes.Food superb!!! I have virtually travelled all over the World but the best lamb skewers were in Kazhakhstan & the best Chicken skewers in Tajikistan.  No words can describe the taste or the tenderness of the meat.  Chicken was marinated in lemon, lime and their herbs.Also very reasonable prices . Liquor prices absolutely cheap. Their own Vodka & Cognac unbelievable prices. Imported ones are reasonably priced.Most restaurants serve a kilo of trout. Superbly baked whole fish.Also I should mention their egg plant dish. It was lightly coated and deep fried, not so oily but crisp. Served in a salad with Fetta cheese, tomatoes, capsicum etc. Way better than our was of preparation.I will post some photos later. Our official photographer didn't join (our son) so it's a bit difficult. Otherwise he uploads and gives me the links.
