The problem is people always associate a band with the front man.
Many bands had to stop or became less popular after the frontman died.
Doors, Queen ...

It is easy to replace a backing player, but not the front man.

good example for all the swollen headed artist who think that there fame is forever. music is an industry which is very unpredicatble and you can loose everything within a second. only few like beetles , elton John ....kept their status.

remember there was a band called Shakthi....now no one even knows it.
