DRIVERS found their morning commute a real horror — after jokers hacked into an electronic road sign and posted warnings about ZOMBIES.

The pranksters, thought to be local students, altered two portable motorway signs intended to warn motorists of roadworks.
The signs were meant to be tamper-proof — but the hackers broke padlocks to get at the computer systems.

If caught they could be fined up to £350 or even face prison in Austin, Texas.
Locals saw the funny side but a public works spokeswoman said: “It is really serious.”
