It's like from the current list of politicians there really are none we can really rely on to bring peace. But my idea is that IF we succeed in getting some sense into the majority of the people these politicians will have to change their policies to match those with the aspirations of the people! All they want is to be in power and right now these ethnic divisions are what these leaders (and the LTTE) use to stay in power.
