HD means High Definition. Usually a Mic Lin In and A headphone Out Are Located In the Front Panel. If U Have multi channel Audio Outs On the Back U Can Plug them To A home theater System Or A surround Sound Setup or somthing. And Do Not Expect HD audio Quality From Main board Integrated Audio. To get Real HD u Need A good Sound Card.
BTW What is Your Motherboard???
