i am about to buy an I-Phone 3G . but i have a doubt that is this supporting video calls or not. if this does not support why they call this model as 3G?

IPhone 3G DOES NOT SUPPORT REGULAR VIDEO CALLS. you cant just dial the number and press video call. You have to use a client like Skype. Even So it will be difficult as it has no front camera.

As a previous Iphone user and a currunt N96 user I'd say you better wait for it. It's Going to be 10 times better than any other phone on the market right now.
