Hard disk should be either Seagate, Western digital, Hitachi (in reducing level of preference)
DVD Burner should be either Liteon, Benq, Asus or Sony

Never go for Hitachi,when i purchased a Hitachi recently it had some problems with the boot sector,I couldn't install windows.I returned that and get another one(hitachi).And it also had the same problem .i had to wait for any other HDD to arrive to Barclays for few weeks.My last last option was Samsung.Its working fine.

There are other people who have bought them and had no problems. It depends.....on your luck

Waaaaaayyyyyy too much. Fot that much, you can get 1TB with multiple drives. (i.e 320GBx3)

I don't know what the problems are. A friend told me that couple of friends had to return the monitors because of defects after few days of usage.
