Hmmm I've bought 20~40 or even more HDDs for my friends and for me.And This Hitachi case was the only bad Luck.i'm not telling anyone should avoid even looking at Hitachi.But u even mentioned that Your friends told u abt Viewsonic Monitors that they had some problems with that.And u recommend not to go for Viewsonic.But My monitor is Viewsonic E50c.But I'm not having any probs with that.

Last time I checked (couple of weeks ago), they only had P5B-E and they said it was Rs. 20,000. Tech Information Solutions, in Unity Plaza had the same board and they said it was Rs.19,000.

Thr z a low end mobo of P5series (P5PL-D2, i think, nt sure), Kurunegala Epsi branch had this, when I got a qoutation frm em (thru 4n)smtym bak, Its price @ tht tym was, 12-13k

It was, Core 2 duo compatible, 4 ram slots, PCI-E, 2 PCI ...etc ...etc

It's not by all means, budget. Budget is like the ATI R200 chipset or 946 chipset. Just that it's old technology. Heck, 965 will be old when P35 is released (soon)
