I need block Google Chat and Skype in my Network. My Employes always chating. Please help me to block Google chat and Skype in my Network.

Well you can see which ports are used by these applications and if a firewall exists u can block only the specific ports. Or else there maybe commerical third party administrating tools which can either block the program or else notify you when such a porgram is launched but u must be willing to spend a few bucks on them. Yet an employee with a simple knowledge about the internet can easily use a web based chat applet to chat. It uses port 80 (Normal port for web traffic) as it is run through a website browser. Like meebo.com. If u want to block these as well say bye bye to the whole internet! Coz no body will be able to check email or surf the web! he he! Well..atleast your employees will not chat!
