Actually it's not my hard disk, But my friend's. My PC is a laptop. HD worked perfectly past months. 2-3 days back I took it to my friend's house to transfer some files, and plugged it to his PC through that USB gadget and switched on the power. (That gadget has a power pack which can give power to hard disks'.) Suddenly it sparked because of his power chord. And copied the files.Then, I came home and plugged again to my PC. Power pack of the gadget indicates the power bulb but HD does not start (No power). Before when I switch on the power I can hear the sound of HD starting.
