Please help this girl (she is only 4 1/2 months) and she is very sick
and by forwarding this email to all your contacts, you will help her
by contributing 10 cents for her operation.

what are these kind of mails?

are these genuine or spam or an attempt to collect e-mail addresses or what?

as it says MSN or AOL pays them money for forwarding this mail; why MSN/AOL pay money for forwarding an e-mail?

can someone pls explain.

AOL or no one will pay anybody for forwarding mails machang

Those are just scams.

Just trying to create chain e-mails.

'None' of them are genuine.

Some foreign e-mails like that can be consider as spam. Because some e-mails use a 1 pixel X 1 pixel image embedded in those kinda e-mails. You can't see any image attached in the e-mail because it's just 1 X 1 pixel.

But when you open that e-mail, the original sender can identify that the e-mail address is functioning because of the image attached.... (Lot of tech stuff... No point saying them all here.)

Anyway those e-mails are scams. Not genuine.
Not only those, but many virus alert e-mails are also hoaxes like this...

This is totally fake. This is just spammers trying to collect email address. When you forward this mail with all the address list they can easily collect all of them and spam.

MSN or AOL never pays for forward emails. That's like supporting spam
Never ever forward such emails.

And i have seen tons of emails saying if you forward this to 10 people your wish will become true. If not worst will happen to you. Your life will turn in to a nightmare. etc.. hehe those are also spammers tricks to collect email address.

I never forward such mails and nothing has happened to me over the years.

Actually machan all new web mails like yahoo, hotmail, gmail and outlook etc.. block images. So the idea is to collect the email address from the email itself.
People forward emails with the open address list so others can get to know all the email address in his/her contact list. Like that it adds up when everyone forward it.
After that spammers have tons of email address signed up to many of those mailing lists and as friends etc.. Then they collect all of them and add to their spam list.
