Alcohol 120% - emulator CD/DVD- discs. The program creates on the hard drive of a PC user a disk with data, audio or video information and then provides access to these data to other programs as if desired disk in the drive.

Alcohol 120% Black Edition can work with most file-known images, emulates the work of 200 x-speed CD-ROM, there is a search for images, another positive feature - the program can copy-protected discs, to circumvent the protection of SafeDisc, StarForce (partially), Securom and LaserLock.

Alcohol 120% can handle the creation of 31 virtual CD and DVD-ROMs, letting users play discs without needing the physical disc. Users can copy CDs and DVDs to CD-R, CD-RW, DVD-R, DVD+R, DVD-RW, DVD-RAM, and DVD+RW discs. The reading speed of a virtual CD-ROM is 200x.
