How to Stop this war..??The day the funding stops, the war stops. They (LTTE) can’t run this war without money. From my point of view, not a single person in sir lanka wants this war to continue, Other than the minority opportunists like Prabahkaran himself, who lives a luxurious life off the money he gets from innocent hard working Tamils living abroad.
Who’s funding them?
Mainly funds come from other countries like Canada, UK, and Switzerland...etc. From People who left Sri Lanka as a consequence of this war as refugees. The LTTE tracks these people through their overseas operations bases (ex-The one in London). They also run propaganda campaigns, fund raising, intelligence gatherings, weapons trading and drug trafficking through these so called offices overseas.
How they manage to collect funds?
Through their global propaganda campaign they brain wash Tamil people and the occasional foreigner (who has no knowledge of the situation in Sri Lanka) to donate funds by inducing sympathy towards them to full fill their evil terrorist cause. They have made it mandatory to all Tamil businessmen to contribute sums of money every month. Failing to do so, they will be faced with devastating consequences. A perfect example would be the Tamil businessmen in Toronto Canada, who are forced to donate large amounts of money, failing to do so these businessmen are vulnerable to being attacked by gangsters working closely with the LTTE or in some cases inflicting harm to family members and private property. Can these actions be justified? , can the LTTE be called the true voice of the Tamil people around the world?
Why they need to Bomb civilians?
Since this is a war their target should be persons related to the war, but why they attract civilians? From my point of view they want to create a problem with the races. (This bombing will provoke the civilians and might lead to and fight between the races, if it happens they (LTTE) are able to show the whole world that there is injustice happening to the Tamil People in sir lanka, so they will get funds from the world to continue the war. The LTTE adopted the same technique back in 1984, which triggered the famous ‘black July’ racial riots in Sri Lanka between the Sinhala and Tamil communities.
For whoever has funded the terrorist or even help those from a single thought...
Your are responsible for the lost lives of sri Lankan people, and their families future, they deserve to have a good life like you, For ‘pro LTTE’ Tamils living in other countries, What’s the point of staying in another country and fund the LTTE to send another person from your own race to commit suicide or to inflict harm on another race of people?.What satisfaction do you get by killing innocent civilians (Including Tamils) who are not a part of this bloody war?
