COVID is not an illness, but a virus. You know the answer. COVID couldn't be cured during the spread. It took months to find a cure. Don't ask stupid questions.

    > What are you trying to say here? write in Sinhalese if you can't express yourself properly in English.

Our people are trying to save everyone - that's what I meant by catch-all system. By trying to save everyone, people end up not saving many people.

It's as if you have a to-do list and try to get everything done, but end up feeling overwhelmed and not getting anything done.

Abstractly, COVID is similar to a computer worm virus. You can use firewalls to prevent the further spread, but Firewall bugs always will allow the virus to spread to other machines.

You don't seem to understand the question, I said an illness not Covid in particular any life threatening illness, now could you please answer the question:

If your dad is 80 and has an illness that could be cured are you going to keep him at home and let him die?

A year and a half after Sweden decided not to lock down, its COVID-19 death rate is up to 10 times higher than its neighbors

Sweden has recorded more COVID-19 cases per capita than most countries so far: Since the start of the pandemic, roughly 11 out of every 100 people in Sweden have been diagnosed with COVID-19, compared with 9.4 out of every 100 in the UK and 7.4 per 100 in Italy. Sweden has also recorded around 145 COVID-19 deaths for every 100,000 people – around three times more than Denmark, eight times more than Finland, and nearly 10 times more than Norway.
Had Sweden implemented tighter rules, experts told Insider, the country might have seen a COVID-19 death toll more similar to those Nordic neighbors.
“They underestimated the mortality tremendously,” Claudia Hanson, an associate professor at Sweden’s Karolinska Institute, told Insider.
“Sweden became a dream for many people to think one can do it differently,” Hanson added. But in retrospect, she said, “it was maybe not a good idea.”

You bloody bastard didn't read what I posted and instead posted the leftist article.

Yes, Sweden has highest deaths, but they are 80-90 naki un!

You don't have to live in Sweden to make analysis. It's just you're unimaginative to see this (Eg lack of Math skills and Critical Thinking). I don't write Sinhala because it's wasting my time. I'm faster with English.

The UK people have already published articles on Sweden without ever being there.

You are the one making stupid statements saying the lives people aged 80 to 90 are inconsequential.
And you didn't brother to think abstractly, idiot!

Swedan a failed country during COVID19. Economicaly shrinked. Older people died. Just for teenagers having fun in streets. Australia and New Zealand did it better if not the best.

Please show statistical data for your "Swedan". Sweden done better economically than any other country.

    Sweden is not "Sudan".

14000 deaths for 10 million people. How that could be a win?
They are 80-90 people mostly. That's a win.

That's what I said. They tried to protect older people, but end up not being able to save 12% of Older people.

    My reply again --

lol ok...how reasonable is it to 'neglect' the death of older people....
It might be economical to get rid of the older generation but still, any death is a death...by the rate of deaths, the whole EU, including Sweden is an utter failure....

maybe go to IKEA and assemble new eyes. Just because your grandma wants to die, doesn't mean everyone wishes the death.....
A new article has been released with more data on Sweden and why it's a success,
