will increasing the number of Maximum Half Open Connections effect the internet speed?
it improves torrent download speeds
first you have to hack Xp and increae the limit to 50 or value you like and then change it from your torrent client too.

We may be thats coz you in Kurunagala. But in colombo you can reach 58+ with a download manager. You checked with torrents right? So how about HTTP or FTP split file downloading with IDM or such download manager?

from download managers i usually get around 54-55 KBps ... i've checked with a guy in Kandy too.. hes getting the same speeds.. and PPL DONT CHECK SPEEDS WITH THE MALE SERVER... we dont download download from Dhiraaghu!! check speeds from Penang server In malaysia.. its the best comparison

They say that they give a damn 512kbps! But only 50kbps! I asked my sir who is an engineer in Telecom. He said that we can guarantee a 512kbps data transfer only within Sri-Lankan borders!
