    hey guys.

    need a small help.
i have two hard disks. one is a SATA drive and one is a IDE drive.

how can i connect both these together?? i have my XP in da SATA drive. so i need da SATA drive to boot. but even if i change da jumper in da IDE drive to secondary it boots from da IDE drive. i tried to change it thru BIOS but i dont c my SATA drive in my BIOS boot menu!!!

is there n e way dat this problem can be solved?

    thx in advance!

well keep the jumper in master for the boot hard. and keep the jumper slave for the next hard.
then go to bios and then go to boot then keep the first boot for the boot hard.k.
    dats all.
    :) :)

well guys as i have told before there is a problem there.

wen i cnnect my IDE hard wit da SATA hard my SATA hard is not recgnized. i tried da BIOS boot menu but it only shows my IDE hard. my SATA hard is missing. but wen i use only da SATA hard it works. i even tried da jumper thing but no luck!!:( :( :( :(

go to your advanced configuration and check if the SATA mode is IDE or RAID, if it is raid change it to IDE, then the device should appear on the BIOS.
