How to Install XP into a Laptop with no CD Rom

Hey guys,

I have a HP NC4400 Laptop which doesnt have a CD Rom. Could any one tell me how to install XP into it using a data stick. System is not working at all, so i need to bootup and run the setup from the Stick.

I f any one could tell me, It would be a great help.

Check your CMOS. some boards supports mem sticks as boot up devices

first create a boot up disk.. i hope u have floppy disk. as far as i can remember if u dnot have cd rom i dont think in ur cmos u wont get that memory devices as boot devices. anyway check.. if its there u can use a pen drive which has more than 4gb to install xp.
