That means you take revenge from your father's killer. Avenge is to do harm "on behalf of" some one. Take revenge is to inflict harm for what he has done. e.g. I avenged Prabhakaran - I killed those who killed Prabhakaran. I took revenge from Prabhakaran - I killed Prabhakaran for the crimes he comitted. You are from the USA, right? Anyway, I just wanted to convey that we should pay attention on what is asked,and help him, and if he has made a mistake correct it second, not first. And that too not in an insulting manner. If not, your ignorance will be marked like this.</blockquote>
